I found my voice by trusting what
made it mine.
I’ve spent more than 20 years studying, teaching, coaching, and facilitating communication. And one thing has become clear: the moments that matter most rarely come with a perfect script.
A presentation. A difficult conversation. An interview. A leadership decision. A room where your ideas need to be heard.
My work is about helping professionals understand how they naturally communicate, make intentional choices, and trust their voice when the stakes are high.
Earlier in my career, I brought an idea into a leadership meeting. I had listened to the people we served, researched what similar organizations were doing, and believed I had something worth contributing.
My idea was dismissed harshly in front of my colleagues.
What stayed with me wasn’t the disagreement. It was what happened afterward: I stopped bringing ideas into the room.

Since then, I’ve met countless smart, capable professionals who know exactly what it feels like to leave a room thinking, Why didn’t I say that?
I know that feeling too.

What I wish I'd had:

-
Someone willing to practice the hard part with me.
-
The pushback.
-
The uncertainty.
-
The moment your voice shakes and you decide whether to use it anyway.

But here's the
thing...

There wasn’t one moment when I suddenly became more confident. I built that trust in myself slowly. Over time, people reflected back what was already working in the way I communicated. I was approachable. I made complex ideas easier to understand. I connected with people.
Then my work with communication styles and Myers-Briggs gave me language for something I was beginning to understand: I could adapt to other people without giving up what made my own communication effective.
And sometimes the best communication happened when the plan fell apart. During one Lunch & Learn, I lost my outline and covered only one of the three points I had planned. I left convinced I had failed. The audience told me the opposite. They valued the depth, the conversation, and what they could actually use.
That experience reinforced something I now believe deeply: effective communication isn’t about perfectly executing a script. It’s about trusting your voice, reading the room, and responding to what the moment requires.
That's the spark I ignite in others.
Hi, I'm Grace!
I’m a communication expert, educator, coach, and facilitator who has spent my career paying attention to what happens when people need their words to matter.
I’ve taught communication in classrooms, coached professionals through high-stakes moments, facilitated conversations inside organizations, and stood on plenty of stages myself.
Across all of it, I’ve learned that confident communication isn’t about becoming more polished or performing a version of yourself that someone else finds impressive. It’s about knowing your voice, reading the room, and making choices that help your ideas land.

I know how much is on the line.
A high-stakes communication moment can shape a decision, a relationship, an opportunity, or the way others understand your expertise.
I know how easy it is to second-guess yourself when the outcome matters. That’s why I’m passionate about giving people the insight, strategy, practice, and support to communicate with greater clarity and intention while still sounding like themselves.
You already have a voice worth hearing.
My job is to help you trust it and use it when it matters most.
